One Love Custom Avalanche Level 1 Course, January 3-4, 2025

This course is designed for students to practical skills for mountain snow travel, snow stability, decision making, terrain selection, avalanche causes, and companion rescue. You must be able to travel on backcountry skis/skins, splitboard, or snowshoes in variable snow conditions. We teach to the modern Recreational Avalanche Level 1 standards published by the American Avalanche Association. This course teaches practical skills for travel over mountain snow, avalanche causes, snow stability, decision-making, terrain selection, and companion rescue.
