This three-day course for the Women's Outdoor Leadership Initiative introduces students to essential rock climbing skills, including top-rope climbing, belaying, anchor construction, rappelling, movement, equipment care, and risk management in a supportive outdoor learning environment.

This customized two-day Avalanche Level 1 course for University of Utah Health Sciences faculty, staff, residents, and students follows the recreational Level 1 curriculum guidelines of the American Avalanche Association. Participants will develop practical skills in avalanche hazard recognition, terrain assessment, trip planning, and decision-making for safer travel in winter backcountry environments.
