WOLI Rock Climbing Course, November 14-15

Spend two immersive days on the basalt walls of Veyo Canyon Resort, with cozy camping at Baker Dam Campground. Under the guidance of instructors Tiffanie Fogel and Meghan Rooney, you’ll learn top-rope climbing, belaying, equipment selection and use, and rope management from ground-up to clean-up. We’ll build a solid technical base with essential knots (figure-8 follow through, stopper, clove), clear climbing commands, and movement fundamentals focused on precise footwork and efficient body positioning. Throughout the course, we’ll weave in practical risk management—site assessment, redundancy checks, and smart decision-making—so you leave confident and ready for your next day out.
