This three-day Introduction to Rock Climbing course introduces students to the foundational skills needed to climb safely and confidently in an outdoor setting. With an emphasis on top-rope climbing, students will develop essential technical skills including belaying, anchor construction, rappelling, climbing movement, and equipment selection, care, and maintenance. Safety practices and risk management will be integrated throughout the course as students learn how to make informed decisions in a climbing environment.

Set among the sandstone cliffs, towers, and canyons of the Moab area, this course offers a distinctive and immersive desert climbing experience.
